THE EVILS "LIBERTY" CD
Daredevil Magazine (Germany)
As soon I´ve put in this CD I knew that I will love these guys. This is in-your-face Rock´n´Roll and for me as an old die-hard fan of Motörhead this album is just right. Biker Rock´n´Roll with a punky edge and southern flair that´ll seduce you to drink beer in unexpected masses and party all night long. The sound is raw, the vocals of Jet Terror are whiskeysoaked and harsh and fit the music perfectly. If you like Motörhead you should check out these guys...the party never stops with The Evils.(RB daredevil)

"They came like Huns and we liked it, we don't care abou the grass anyways".
"We've been lucky to book The Evils at the Brock'n'roll Festival part 2, and we saw them twice more. Once again in Limoges@l'ile aux trésors, and in Tulle, with Burning Heads and Uncomenmen from Mars. Both shows were excellent and they left definitly gained a new following in France!
Check their brilliant "Liberty" cd re-issued in Europe by Nicotine REcords...It's worth it! If you like Motorhead, The Ramones and AC/DC...You should find some elements in their music. But they have something more. Class.
Oh...And they cover "R.A.M.O.N.E.S." by Motorhead and, and, and!"Left for dead" by The UK Subs. What can you do but loving these guys?
They will be back. So be ready for a new attack."(.datapunkpropagande)

"After listening to mostly piece of shit records for the past few months or so, I finally have something that is actually worth listening to. This is the first full-lengh Cd bt Atlanta very own punk-metal all stars, THE EVILS. The music is tough, the lyrics tough and the voice is an all-out assault on the senses.
Lead vocalist Jet growls like a junkyard dog who's probably had a fair share of abuse in his days, by belting out his no-nonsense rock'n'roll attitude to the ire of the Nu-generation. Jet, drummer Mark Stopper, bassist Johnny Rival and lead guitarist Evil Jim Wright plow head-on through twelve hard, fast and heavy-hitting rock tunes, starting off with the Cd's title track"Liberty"and then my personal favorite, the psychobilly-ish "Motorcycle".

"This full length follow-up to the "7" E.P. captures the raw, in-your-face lifestyle these guys embody on and off stage. Revved up like a fine-tuned Harley, The Evils set gritty guitars to punk-rock tempos with a slight rebel rawk flair on new and familiar tracks like "Motorcycle", "Black Boots and attitude" and "Go to hell". No gimmicks or gadgetry, just pure American rock'n'roll. Somewhere between Lemmy and Danzig, frontman Jet Terror (formely of Dead Elvis) sings about riding motocycles, drinking beer, kicking ass,and other pastimes that would make mom proud while the band provides the perfect sound track"(PRICK MAGAZINE- By Jonathan Williams)

"THE EVILS were one of the first local Atlanta bands we saw often in the clubs. I don't know all the guys but see them often. They play fierce balls out rock that is like a wall of sound. We usually see the band at the 9 lives Saloon but once caught them at the masquarade and they sounded fucking awesome. Not that they aren't kick ass at the 9 lives saloon but at a bigger venue, they seemed most at home and they sounded much better than ususal in my opinion.
I've since seen a ton of local Atlanta bands and have to say that THE EVILS personify the true rocknroll attitude that a lot of bands today couldn't even think of it if they were prayed to do so...
Jet is in your face and on it 100% everytime he plays and Evil Jim is the ruler of all bloody handed guitar players....come back guys...we/Atlanta need you."

"Searing punk rockers who don't skimp on either the punk or the rock, THe Evils boast exceptional guitar firepower, a roaring rhythm section and the formidable stage persona of Jet Terror(former frontman of legendary Atlanta punk act Dead elvis). Tonite, they are headlining a benefit show that also includes Gonzales.

The room suddently gets crowded.LOose band members filter in, the neon lights get turned out and a fog machine fills the stage with low-fi special effects.
"We're a fuckin' rock'n'roll band! And we are ready to rock!"
THE EVILS have taken the stage, their front man in tights black pants, bald and sporting black sunglasses,back-lit through the fog.
Okay this is more like it. The room is suddently more 513 Club than Star bar. Rock'n'roll and Punk are definitely alive and kicking. Many punk abnds have gone the way of alternative and are playing a new breed of country and rockabilly. But there are some who have taken up the torch and keeping the spirit of rebellion alive.
Screaming one word choruses like "Motorcycle, motorcycle" theband whips the crowd into a frenzy. The"Jailbait" swing their hips. The old people are grinning with their eyes closed in appreciation. This is no garage band coming out to have a good time and show off some of their practised guitar tricks. the Evils are channeling their own brand of devil music for the crowd.
"We will show those pussy alternative bandss this is how to rock'n'roll!"
hey break into another fast, pumping,ear-bleeding power riff.
Maybe I will get my ass kicked by someone after all,or at least by someone's sonic assault. The crowd is growing and testerone is hot and heavy in the fog-filled room.
9 Lives has a reputation as a biker bar and now I see why. This corner of the city helps keep alive the years of punk and rock road warriors rebelling against convention, straining their guitarsz to their limits and playing their hearts out like an open road.
Rock'n'roll isn't dead. Thank god."

"On saturday night, 9 lives saloon and the star bar mostly ignored the 26th anniversary of Elvis presley's death (although the Star Bar did have an early-evening Elvis tribute). instead, both bars devoted their lucrative Saturday-night lineups to the cause of raising money for their friend, Richie Viale, who was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Goodness of the cause aside,it was a chance to see some great local rock bands. The first enjoyably sweaty and sleazy-sounding band I saw was The Evils at 9 lives.
They looked evil enough. But I saw them chatting amongst
themselves and with bar patrons, and they were quiet friendly.Maybe that's just how get you to let your guard before they go evil on you. Viale was at the front of the stage, cheering and yelling,"evils!" (...)

Evils "7"
A top notch homemade punk rock and roll CD which sounds like Gene simmons from Kiss singing for an underground punk band."Back Boots and Attitude" seems to sum up where they are coming from. This shows potential, and I for one am going to try and hunt them down live.

THE EVILS seven song falls firmly into that category of bad boy rock whose aesthetic revolves around skulls, flames, and blood, but with a handful of patriotic images thrown in as well. Lots of guitar licks and vocals like Samain-era Danzing.
